Jetblue 25 Segment 3
Posts from this Trip Report:
The third segment was perhaps the most memorable of them all. This was where I took a solid week off from work and went full vacation mode for half of my journey.

You'll notice some odd non-continuous routings here. It didn't really make sense for me to fly Jetblue back to BOS or FLL given I had already hit the destinations. So quite a few repositioning flights here, but I had plenty of flight credits to use.
But this segment was the most fun mostly because of the 3 days I spent in St Thomas. I was only supposed to be there for 2 days, but because of a water main leak in Puerto Rico, the entire old town San Juan had no running water when I landed. Luckily, St Thomas flights are typically very fairly priced from SJU, so I made a last-minute switch to fly the very next day.
I had only visited St Thomas while stopping over on a cruise, so didn't really get the full experience. This time I chose to rent a car, live on top of the hill, and embrace the island life. I met some incredible people in my short stint here, and I'm definitely going to be back in the future!

This segment I partied (lightly) in Playa del Carmen,

visited Chichen Itza while sweating my entire body weight,

toured the old forts of San Juan,

got a room with the best view of St Thomas,

touched sand, again,

went fishing for trick-or-treaters,

and finally got Mosaic status for 25 years!!!
