Jetblue 25 Segment 1
Posts from this Trip Report:
For the first segment, I started off slow with flights just up and down the eastern seaboard. The full itinerary is below:
| Date | Route | Flight Time |
|---|---|---|
| AUG23 | JFK - BDL | 08:40PM - 09:59PM |
| AUG24 | BDL - PBI | 08:45AM - 11:45AM |
| AUG26 | PBI - EWR | 08:06PM - 11:00PM |
| AUG28 | JFK - MHT | 09:59PM - 11:27PM |
| SEP03 | BOS - RSW | 07:15PM - 10:48PM |
| SEP06 | RSW - HPN | 10:45AM - 01:38PM |
| SEP06 | JFK - BNA | 08:00PM - 09:38PM |
These were booked as 4 separate tickets:
- Multi-city: JFK - BDL / BDL - PBI
- One-way : PBI - EWR
- One-way : JFK - MHT
- Multi-city: BOS - RSW / RSW - HPN / JFK - BNA
Jetblue, for the most part, prices multi-city itineraries as the sum of the individual one-way components. They then deduct $5.60 for connections under 4 hours at the same airport because the government only would charge 1 security fee.
As you can see, the only "close connection" I had was from HPN to JFK. It's about 2.5-3 hours to get HPN to JFK, so I had about an hour or so of breathing room, enough time to stop and get lunch in Rye, CT!
BNA is also somewhere I wouldn't have ever visited if not for the challenge. This may offend some real country music lovers, but I felt that Nashville was...underwhelming. Broadway had some crowds, but the wide road made it feel less fun overall. Every bar seemed to just be a copy and paste of each other. I honestly had more fun exploring Warner Parks than walking around in the city.

This trip I got to go kayaking,

touch grass,

touch grass sand,

have too many limes on one beer,

and explore a little bit of Nashville, a city I had never visited before!
